Meditate
Meditation is a practice meant to be done regularly—ideally daily. That’s why it is called a practice.
It is not a concept or a theory. Meditation is something you do.
Which means that, when you begin, you probably won’t be very good at it.
No big. There is no reason you should be good at something you have little experience with.
Just keep practicing. It will get easier.
The most basic skill we develop in meditation is the art of return: returning awareness, again and again, to the object of focus.
Over time, this helps develop a steadier mind—one that can more easily settle and rest.
GUIDED MEDITATIONS
Encourage your practice, bring awareness here and now, & ground into the present moment.
The guided meditations here are a starting point. An introduction to meditation.
They are arranged in a circular movement: from quieting, to grounding, to gathering awareness, to sensing the body, to recognizing and resting in the radiant light of the heart, and then to working with the breath and body to engage unconditioned love, before returning again to quieting and grounding.
You can do them in order, or just one, or however works for you.
